...The best opportunities are often overlooked!
Success Has It's Own Lifespan A major mistake many business individuals make is thinking that success is never ending. After all, their company has held it's place since as far back as the 70's, realizing great growth, steady profits and so much more. Despite all that, something just doesn't seem the same as it did in the past. Welcome to that moment when reality hits you head on, enabling you to realize that success has its own lifespan...and we have no true control of it.
Recognizing Time For Change From a first hand experience, we know all to well how we can become so comfortable in our success, that we fail to see it lost it's momentum long ago; our labors had become just a job now. One of our companies, The Toy Man® Product Guide, (first established in 1971), had become recognized Internationally for strong branding development recognition and distinctive product evaluations like no other. As years pressed on, the same motivation and competitive spirit continued to burn on without ceasing. This created a dilema without our realizing it. Just as with any other company or individual, despite years of productive success, the rapidly changing industry trends and demands fail to be recognized. We fell into the trap of failing to either evolve with the industry or determine if it was time to move on to a more lucrative business operation. After reviewing multiple important factors that assure the profitable operation of our business, we established that it was in fact time to end operations and consider new and more productive options in which to invest our time and financial assets.
Starting a Journey On a New Path After so many years of our trade, it was somewhat difficult to consider the idea of what's next? Those of us who elected to remain and brainstorm for the best direction to proceed from here had quite the challenge. We had to realize and accept that we were literally beginning a new company. We considered all of the elements such as our age, experience and most important, desire of where to proceed from this point. The most obvious fact to take into consideration was that this most likely would be the final business venture in our lifetimes.
The spinLife Freedom Foundation represents a means for us to not just help fulfill the needs of others and their caregivers, but upon our passing leave a legacy that would continue to carry on the passion that motivated us to establish this foundation and hopefully inspire others. After just a few short years, together with a group of other professionals in the medical field, we have made great strides in fulfilling our desire in the assistance of helping people who are mobility challenged. The greatest part has been in helping those who suffered physical and mental injuries in the service of our country, the disabed Veterans. By taking that first step from former success, we began to realize that if your priority is on those you serve, money needed to keep the effort continuing comes on its own as a fringe benefit with such fluidity.
Taking That First Step It is so important to stop and examine what you do and how you do it in your labors each day. Are your labors simply dedicated to getting a paycheck, or have you considered taking a closer look at where your priorities in your labors are. You can't make a dream come true unless you take that first step. The new tag-line for our foundation, ( It's all about YOU!!" ), evokes a message to every individual whether staff, medical industry professionals, or one we are assisting. The spinLife Freedom Foundation is about those that we are there to serve. It also serves to remind us every day about the importance of humility and dedication to the programs we develop to help assist others. Our lifetime is lived but once; we are in control of the productivity and benefits gained in our lives. Consider taking that first step to get on the proper path that will reward your life the greatest. The decision is yours...just don't make the mistake of missing the train and losing that opportunity that you deserve.
